1953 Austin A40 Somerset, a very nice example of these good looking, comfortable and surprisingly nice to drive cars. The structure is very good with all the seams etc in very good condition and the underside is all good. The boot floor which often rots away is again all very sound. The paintwork is also very good all over and has presumably been redone at some point. The interior is original and could be improved with a bit of gentle feeding and reviving but has a lovely patina about it. The original headlining is still very good.
